Developers Reef Entertainment have announced a small two week delay to their exciting upcoming title, Terminator 2D: No Fate.
The title, inspired by the legendary Terminator 2: Judgement Day was originally scheduled to launch in September, but was pushed back to November 26 2025. Needing a little more time in the oven, Reef have confirmed a new release date of December 12 2025. The delay will apply for both physical and digital versions of the game.

With impressive pixel art that gives a Mega Drive-like (Genesis) appearance including in its cut scenes, intense combat and big boss battles, 2D: No Fate is shaping up to be a great way to smash Skynet.
The game will span scenes from Terminator 2 including the iconic motorbike and lorry chase, as well as new untold stories from the Terminator universe. Players will play as John and Sarah Connor, and the T-800 (Arnie) with music from the movie recrafted for the low-poly release.
Also on the horizon from the franchise is 3D title, Terminator Survivors which still has a TBC 2025 release date, following it’s own delay from 2024. Survivors is a solo or co-operative survival open world set in the aftermath of Judgement Day. Survivors is scheduled to launch on PC initially with console releases to follow.
Terminator 2D: No Fate arrives on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4/5 on December 12 2025.
