Hollow Knight: Silksong FINALLY Has A Release Date

Hollow Knight: Silksong release date. It’s real. Yes, really!

Well, the day is finally here. After waiting for years and years, and all the memes and jokes, and whether or not the game was canceled, we now know the release date!

A couple of days ago, Team Cherry set up a release date for a “special announcement” video on their YouTube channel, and that came with some good news.

Check out the release trailer below.

FINALLY!!!!

The new trailer did show new abilities and weapons you’ll use as Hornet. It also showed that you will fight over 200 enemies and 40 bosses. This seems to suggest a much bigger game than the original.

Now, if you’ve been waiting years for this game like I have, the biggest news is you don’t have to wait much longer. Hollow Knight: Silksong will be dropping next month on September 4th, 2025.

It releases on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles. It’s also releasing day one on Xbox Game Pass. So, no matter where you play, you’ll be able to try out this highly anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight.

Calm Down Reddit

If nothing else, at least the Hollow Knight Subreddit can take off their clown makeup, and they finally have something to celebrate after years of silence and rumors.

Are you excited about the release date, and it being so soon? Feel free to comment below.
