If you’re looking to knock out the Speed Run and Touch Grass achievements in Date Everything right away, you can actually earn both of them within minutes of starting the game. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it.

Start the Game and Complete the Tutorial

When you begin, you’ll find yourself already in your office. Walk over to your work computer and interact with it to start your first workday. You’ll cycle through various dialogue prompts with characters like David Most, Tom, and Sam. Simply continue through all the conversations to move forward.

Handle Customer Care

Once the initial dialogues are complete, press RB to navigate to the Customer Care section. You'll need to answer a few customer support chats. The choices you make here don't affect the achievements, so feel free to quickly mash through the dialogue by pressing A.

Answer Your Phone

After finishing your workday and leaving your computer, your phone will ring. Answer the call and select the THISCORD app. You'll have a brief chat with TINFOILHAT, which you can also fast-forward through by pressing A.

Retrieve the Package

Shortly after the call, a drone will deliver a package to your front door. Once notified:

Exit your office (from the cork board, it’s the door to your left).
Turn left again to reach the front door.
Interact with the package by pressing A.

Meet Skylar Specs

Skylar Specs will introduce herself and explain that the package contains DATEVIATORS. After the conversation, you’re instructed to use them to “awaken” a door.
