Hell Is Us, the sci-fi action adventure game from Rogue Factor, has a demo available to play on PC, but only for a limited time. As part of Steam Next Fest, players can try out the upcoming title until June 16th, 2025.
The Hell Is Us demo, which is available on Steam, lets players experience the start of the game and introduces Remi, the playable character, voiced by Elias Toufexis. In a post published on the Hell Is Us Steam Page, the devs had this to say about the demo:
“This introduction is meant to ease you into Hell is Us and its core gameplay systems. It won’t show you everything the full game has to offer – it’s just the beginning. Some of the key elements, like exploration and the player plattering experience, truly come into their own as the world opens up and the layers unfold.”
The team at Rogue Factor also had a message of reassurance to their console fans, explaining that the demo was only available on PC due to “technical constraints” and wouldn’t affect anything else.
“Please rest assured: Hell is Us will launch simultaneously on PC and consoles, with the same content and the same level of polish. Development is progressing equally across all platforms – this limitation only concerns the demo.”

While Hell Is Us is set to be a challenging experience with a “no handholding” approach to design, the devs have also shared that the game will have difficulty options as well as “several customization options to tailor the experience to your play style.”

Hell Is Us is slated to release on September 4th on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
