If you’re one of the two million-plus Nightfarers who have already jumped into Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll be playing the updated version. And if you’re about to jump in, here are the details of the Elden Ring Nightreign Day One patch.
Bandai Namco released the patch ahead of the game’s official release today, so unless you pre-installed the game before loading it up today, you’ll already be playing the updated version.
The patch aims to address stability issues and improve gameplay. They’re only minor tweaks for now, but it seems FromSoftware will be continuing to tweak and build on the game. Bandai Namco also provides some troubleshooting for PC players who might have encountered some issues.
Given some of the feedback from reviews and early players, it seems that the balance adjustments won’t be the only time they happen. Particularly for solo players.

We have confirmed that some PC configurations using the latest graphics cards may experience frame rate drops. We are currently investigating the cause. In the meantime, if you experience significant frame rate drops, you may be able to resolve it by setting the graphics settings from the default “High” to “Medium” or “Low” and lowering the screen resolution, as well as installing the latest drivers for your graphics card.
