Doom: The Dark Ages – All Chapter 19: Harbor Of Souls Collectibles & Upgrades Guide

Doom: The Dark Ages is here. The latest shooter in the Doom franchise from iD has a bit of a different feel with its more open world style of levels. Within each level is many different secrets on the form of collectibles, upgrades and other items. This guide will help you with finding all the upgrades and collectibles in Chapter 19: Harbor Of Souls.

Ruby

Proceed a little ways into the chapter and you will get to an area past a few fireball traps and get trapped into a hallway with a few enemies. Defeat the enemies and move on and you will be in an area with 3 separate hallways.

Where they all connect at the end of the path is a trap that is moving up and down. Wait til it's on the floor and jump on top so that it lifts you up. Once it's up look to your right and jump over to a little room with a button on the floor.

Stand on the button and do a 180 where you will see the spot to put your shield saw in to be a gear.

Once you have done that drop back down and run across to where the gear is to find the Ruby.

Codex – Harbor of Souls

Progress a bit further til you get to the red gate you can't yet open. You will have to turn right to move forward and jump a gap. Kill all the enemies to open the path forward. Go through the now open area and go down the stairs. At the bottom look to your left to find the codex.

Demonic Essence – Health

Immediately after grabbing the blue skull you will drop down into a massive area where a battle will commence. Defeating the final enemy will net you this upgrade.

Collectible Toy – Acolyte

After clearing the area head back towards where the chapter first started. Now that you have the blue skull you can open a door you couldn't earlier. Climb the wall and go right to open the gate. Follow the path and grab the toy at the end.

Wraithstone

Progress to a room with a large spiral staircase. I recommend clearing the enemies at the bottom and top of the area before doing this. Once cleared head to the bottom and go in behind the staircase where you will see a breakable wall.

Break it down and you will see a gear in behind.

Use your shield saw and a large pillar will begin to raise up to your left. You must jump on it quickly and ride it all the way up. If you are too slow recall your shield and try again. At the top you can jump off to a new platform where you can grab the wraithstone.

Demonic Essence – Ammo

In the last area of the chapter you will have a big battle. The leader of the area has the upgrade. This is unmissable.

Codex – Hell Priests

When you enter the large room where the lift is to take you up to the helm, before going to the helm go to the right and enter a little corridor where the codex will be.
