Doom: The Dark Ages – All Chapter 18: Belly of the Beast Collectibles & Upgrades Guide

Doom: The Dark Ages is here. The latest shooter in the Doom franchise from iD has a bit of a different feel with its more open world style of levels. Within each level is many different secrets on the form of collectibles, upgrades and other items. This guide will help you with finding all the upgrades and collectibles in Chapter 18: Belly Of The Beast.

Demonic Essence – Armor

After the first major battle you will obtain this naturally by defeating the final enemy.

Ruby

Proceed to the section where you need to move the crate above you and shield recall up. Climb the big wall here like the game wants you to. As soon as you climb it do a 180 and jump into the tube that's there. Follow it down for the Ruby.

Codex – Commander Thira

After destroying the final tentacle in the area you should notice the codex right next to where the battle took place through some acid.

Collectible Toy – Komodo

From the codex drop down right infront of you and walk forward. You will see a spot you can put the shield saw in to move a crate blocking a path. Once it's moved head on in and drop down. Defeat the massive horde of enemies to complete a challenge and make sure to grab the toy before taking the portal back out.
