The next installment of Killing Floor 3 was announced Gamescom in August for March 25th, 2025. However, after the closed beta test, Tripwire Interactive decided to delay the game so that they could address player complaints. The new date is now scheduled for July 24th, 2025.
Tripwire Interactive has been sharing progress on their official forum for everything they have been changing during the delay. From changes to design, artwork, UI, and animations they have been hard at work. They also promise to continue making updates such as these through future updates. In a press release the team shared the following statement addressing the new release date, “Since delaying the launch of Killing Floor 3, we’ve dedicated the additional development time to responding to the community’s feedback, ensuring the next chapter in the much-loved cult action/horror franchise lives up to our shared vision,” said Bryan Wynia, Creative Director at Tripwire Interactive. “The support from our fans has been incredible, and with the new July 24th release date in sight, we’re thrilled to bring that vision to players not just at launch, but through the continued support of new features and content that is a hallmark of our studio.”.
Killing Floor 3 will launch on July 24 for PC, Playstation 5, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems
