Oblivion Remastered: Kung Fu Khajiit Guide

When starting an RPG, one of the first challenges you come across is deciding what play style you want to make. This can be a hard choice for any gamer with so many different class varieties. Whether it be a tanky warrior, a stealthy archer, a magic wielder, or a little bit of everything, Oblivion has so many fun skills to level up and experiment with. With this Oblivion Remastered: Kung Fu Khajiit guide, we will show you a favorite build of ours and how to get it as soon as you enter the open world.

ENTER THE KUNG FU KITTY

You’re going to want to take the Khajiit class as they are naturals at hand-to-hand combat, starting with +10 to the skill. They are also naturally agile and quick, which comes in handy when dodging in and out with haymakers and uppercuts. Our favourite main skills to take are as follows:

These give you a good balance of speed, healing, punching power, some utility to open those pesky locks / repair your gear, and the destruction skill comes in handy for monsters or ghosts that are immune to physical damage. You can find the full description of each skill here.

I recommend The Lady birth sign as it makes up for the Khajiit’s natural lack of Willpower and Endurance

Now for the meat and potatoes of this build: The Bands Of Kwang Lao fortify a staggering +20 to hand to hand making you an absolute menace as early as level 1.

Here is how you acquire these bad boys as soon as possible:

  • Teleport to the Imperial City, Arena District, and turn right immediately.
  • Follow the path until you come across  Branwen and Saliith
  • Stand here and watch them duke it out until a message appears: “By watching the arena hopefuls spar, you’ve picked up a few tips! Your Hand To Hand skill has increased by 5 points.”
  • Wait the appropriate amount of in-game hours until it is night and they are both sleeping on the sparring pit floor near “Branwen and Saliith’s locked chest.”
  • Sneak and hide behind the barrels. *SAVE THE GAME* In case you are caught by the guards, then pickpocket Branwen and take the key to the chest.

Within five minutes of being in the open world, you are now +25 points stronger in Hand-to-Hand combat!!!

Warning! You will notice in your inventory that these are stolen items, so don’t get caught by the guards getting up to no good, or they’ll take you away to jail, and the bracers will no longer be in your possession.

That’s our Oblivion Remastered Kung Fu Khajiit guide, a fun melee-focused build for you to try out!
