Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Manor Secret Room Guide

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has plenty of secrets hidden across its breathtaking world, but some require more than just wandering off the beaten path. While travelling through the 2nd region on the continent, the Flying Waters, there is one such secret that some may find a bit tricky to solve. So, here is our Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Manor Secret Room Guide!

Reaching The Manor

Once you have met up with Lune and left the Spring Meadows region, you must head North to enter the Flying Waters region, following a lead to find Maelle. After a short time travelling through this aquatic-themed region, the party comes across a strange structure in a clearing. Approach it for a cutscene to play.

After the cutscene, Gustave and Lune find themselves in a mysterious and opulent manor, full of locked doors and paintings showing different locations across the world.

There is an expedition flag you can rest at on the left side when facing the staircase.

The Manor’s Secret Room

Go up the stairs and head through the hallway directly in front of you, at the end of which is a grand room with a long dining table in the centre, flanked by columns.

Head over to the side where there are some comfy-looking chairs and a fireplace. Against a wall is a low table, which has a symbol that looks like a pair of wings just above it. Approach the symbol and interact with it, rotating the symbol, which in turn moves the table to one side, revealing the entrance to the secret room.

Unfortunately, it is blocked, so you’ll have to find the other 3 switches hidden in this large hall.

The second switch is just past the alcove with the fireplace, behind one of the large buttresses, hidden in the shadows.

The Switch Is Where The Circle Is.

The third switch can be found on the square pillar furthest away from the cosy alcove with the secret room entrance. Only one more to go!

The fourth and final switch is found hidden in the shadows again, sneakily placed on the buttress flanking the alcove with the piano (it’s the buttress closest to the entrance to the hall).

With all the switches now interacted with, the Manor’s secret room is now clear! You will automatically crouch to enter the low tunnel, which opens up into a small dishevelled room full of crates.

Break some of the crates if you need to, but you should see the purple sparkle of an item within one of them. Pick it up to collect one of the Music Records spread throughout Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which can be played back at Camp.

Congratulations! You’ve just solved the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Manor’s Secret Room!
