Unlock the “Packed Lunch” achievement / trophy guide in Atomfall.
Atomfall is the latest and newest game from the developers of Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, Rebellion. Their latest title is a first-person survival mystery game, where you must figure out what’s going on in the Quarantine Zone in Windscale.
You must unravel the mystery, escape the Quarantine Zone, and try to survive, and there are plenty of excellent ways to do that in the game that will earn you tasty achievements / trophies (if you’re so inclined).
“Packed Lunch” Achievement / Trophy
The “Packed Lunch” achievement / trophy tasks you with finding five buried lunchboxes. These are found scattered around the world of Wyndham. You will need your trusty metal detector to find them.
When you get close to a location of a lunch box, a prompt will appear on screen to get your metal detector out. The same way it does for hidden caches.
Use the indicators on your metal detector to get to the right location before digging. Use the five red lights to change your direction accordingly. If the middle red light is lit up, then the cache / lunchbox is straight ahead; if it’s to the left, you need to turn left, and so on. The closer you are to ’10’ on the dial, the closer you are. When all five red lights are lit at once, dig to find your hidden treasure.
There are more lunchboxes than the five you need for the achievement, but here are five for you to net the cheevo.
Locations
I’ve listed them in the order I found them, not necessarily the best order to find them.
“The Spider”
In Slatten Dale, to the upper left of the map, in the Convoy Wreckage area.
“Air Ace Hurricane”
In Slatten Dale, to the left of the map, below the Outlaw’s Cave. You need to climb up a couple of ledges and climb down a metal ladder. There’ll be a gate you can then unlock
“Steel Commando”
In Slatten Dale, to the lower right of the map, below the Bandit-occupied camp. On the edge of the water area (watch out for bitey fish).
“Battler Britton – Thriller Picture Library (Red) 417”
In Skethermoor, upper part of the map. In the hedge maze area.
“Jet-Ace Logan – Planet of Fear – Thriller Picture Library 430”
Can be found to the right of Wyndham Village, near the water.
