It's the middle of the month so of course that means new announcements for Xbox Game Pass. The back half of March features a couple of highly anticipated day 1 additions as well as some other fun games.
The highlight for most will likely be Atomfall, the latest new IP from Rebellion. A survival game that people continue to say gives off Fallout vibes, except for the developers themselves, has been on the radar of many for awhile now.
The second day 1 release is the long awaited indie 33 Immortals. Having been announced all the way back at the 2023 Xbox showcase it's been a long time coming. The game launches into game preview today! Featuring 33 player games where the goal is to make the way through the map and defeat the boss. Die and it's game over for you.
We have already been hands on with 33 Immortals and can say it's an ambitious take on the roguelike genre. Watching your allies fall in battle knowing that with each death your chances of survival diminish.
This ends what's been a very strong quarter for Xbox Game Pass in terms of new releases. Already in 2025 the service has seen day one releases of Sniper Elite: Resistance, Citizen Sleeper 2, Eternal Strands and Avowed. With games like Commandos Origins and South of Midnight in early April it doesn't show signs of slowing down.
