Yes, I know I’ve joked that Hollow Knight: Silksong must have been cancelled, and no one told the developers, but I’m serious. It is happening, and we actually have some news.
Yes the game is real, progressing and will release. <3

A couple of days ago, on Twitter/X, a handle going by the name Leo_C007 tagged Matthew Griffin, who handles marketing and publishing for Hollow Knight: Silksong and asked “if the game is progressing in it’s development or if the team has given up on the project” and I’m glad to say Matthew was quick to respond.
“Yes, the game is real, progressing, and will release,” his response reads. If this was any other game than Silksong, I’m not sure this would be news. However, this is Hollow Knight: Silksong we are talking about.

Team Cherry, the developer behind Hollow Knight and its highly anticipated sequel, has basically been radio silent since the team talked about a blog post way back in 2019 after the original trailer was shown (oddly the blog post itself has since been deleted). Since then, the Twitter/X account has only reposted when the game was confirmed for a day one Gamepass via an Xbox showcase back on June 12th, 2022 and randomly when the game is on sale somewhere or when someone posts about new licensed merch.

I am hoping this confirmation is a sign that the game will come sooner than later (it has to at this point, right?). What are your thoughts? Are you glad to hear Hollow Knight Silk Song still exists and is coming? Comment below
