For many years, Bleach was considered one of the big three anime as its popularity grew with Western audiences. While it may have had time away from the spotlight, it has come back with a vengeance. Its most recent video game entry, Bleach Rebirth of Souls looks to be no different. In fact, this game may even save the anime arena fighting genre.
On December 4, 2024 Bandai Namco premiered the release date announcement trailer fans had been waiting for. This will be the first Bleaxh game on console since Bleach: Soul Resurrección in 2011. The trailer, set to “Die for Love” by Miyavi, gives fans glimpses into the Soul Society arc from the beloved series.
Bandai Namco has been providing drip marketing on their Twitter/X page since July. Today’s announcement was no different. The trailer also revealed two more confirmed character trailers coming in the future. Actors Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigo) and Michelle Ruff (Rukia), among others, return to voice these iconic characters who find themselves at the center of it all. Seems like a good time for fellow fans to revisit the series as well.
