Sony has dropped a ton of numbers today as it unveiled its quarterly financial results including a sales figure for its critically acclaimed platformer, Astro Bot.
According to Sony, their beloved robot mascot's latest adventure has sold 1.5 million units in its first 2 months. While that figure may seem low compared to other Sony releases, Astro Bot wasn't expected to be a massive seller. It also is a PlayStation 5 exclusive having not released on the PlayStation 4.

To give some context, Sega's most recent platforming game, Sonic X Shadow Generations sold a million units in its first day, however Sonic was released on all platforms giving it much more reach than Astro Bot.
We at Gamer Social Club happened to love Astro Bot, giving the game a 10/10 calling it "a love letter to PlayStation's history and honestly even gaming as a whole". High praise indeed.
Sony and developer Team Asobo seem committed to the game as well with Astro Bot already receiving a few content update with likely many more to come. The possibilities seem endless with collaborations on new Bots and they just dropped the most recent map Helium Heights yesterday, with Rising Heat due out next week on the 14th.
