A pretty seismic shift has taken place in the video game industry as PlayStation's loss is Xbox's gain in the form of Creative Director Brian Horton.
As first reported by Game File, Horton, who most notably was the Creative Director on Spider-Man Miles Morales has left Insomniac, perhaps a bit surprisingly for Xbox's The Initiative and is now helming its Perfect Dark reboot. Horton had been announced as the Creative Director of Marvel's Wolverine back in 2021, though according to the report left the project this summer.

The fit does make some sense however as Horton has previously worked on the Tomb Raider trilogy with Crystal Dynamics. Crystal Dynamics is helping The Initiative with Perfect Dark's development.
Over on the Wolverine side of things, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Creative Director Marcus Smith has taken over the role for the game and Mike Daly will take over as the Game Director.
What this all means for both Perfect Dark and Wolverine remain to be seen. There was hope around the industry that both of these games may not be too far off, however adding new Creative Directors may lead to speculation that the games aren't as far along as hoped.
Whatever the case may be, both are highly anticipated and we can't wait to see what the teams are cooking up.
