Xbox is poised to go all out on bringing their biggest new game to as many people as possible with Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 launching day 1 on Game Pass Ultimate, and that now includes the Cloud!
That's right, today Xbox has announced that Black Ops 6 will be available to play anywhere via Xbox Cloud Gaming to those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription when the game launches on October 25th. Modern Warfare 3 and Call Of Duty Warzone will also be available to stream through the cloud starting on the 25th.

This move is unprecedented for the Call Of Duty franchise as it will be the first time ever it can be streamed, as well as of course the first time it will be on Xbox Game Pass. This means that if you have a game pass ultimate subscription you will be able to play the newest Call Of Duty on your consoles, PCs, mobile devices, select Samsung TVs, Amazon Fire TV, and Meta Quest devices.
Xbox and Microsoft and banking big on hopes that Black Ops 6 will significantly boost Game Pass subscriptions in an effort to help raise revenues that will likely be lost from many Xbox users not purchasing the game. Short term pain for long term gain is the goal.
So if you use cloud gaming, this is certainly a big win for you. Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 releases October 25th on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & 5, PC and many other devices.
